Mithileysh has been working as a Research Scientist in Red Sift Labs, London and carrying out research at the City, University of London, UK. His expertise in communication systems – at both theoretical and application levels – ranges from industrial projects to academic ones. He holds a Master's degree in Communication Systems from Swansea University, UK and research fellowship in Communication Science from the University of Brighton, UK. His research was in collaboration with the Nokia Research, Finland and the focus was on developing visualisations for mobile communication networks. He has won many research awards and was invited as a visiting research fellow at the giCentre, City, University of London for his research excellence.

Mithileysh is also a consultant at the Phanini Academy of Education, Count on Us-Research & Development at Bangalore, India. In addition, he motivates and recruits' students for internships, which benefits the Indian Engineering College students to complete their final year project with exclusive project-intensive training atPhanini, Count on Us and other start-up companies.
He has 50+ refereed research papers published by the top international publishers like ACM, Elsevier, IEEE & Springer, etc. He has participated and presented papers at various international/national conferences worldwide. He is also a peer reviewer for many international conferences and journals around the globe and has served as a technical program committee member for many international conferences. He is an active member of many professional-bodies like The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Researchers Academy, Identity Research Group, International Association of Engineers, Computer Society of India and Teacher's Academy.
His major research focuses on Smart Technologies, Communication Systems & Science, Data Science, Human-computer Interaction, Visualisation, and Social Informatics.
